FAQs
How should I clean my rolling tray?
I don’t recommend ever submerging your tray in water. To clean, I recommend using a damp cloth to gently wipe clean. Make sure to dry completely.
How long will it be until my order is shipped?
Getting your order to you as soon as possible is a major priority at Mad Dude Art. But so is putting the time and attention into each piece to ensure it is perfect when it reaches you! Please allow up to two weeks processing time before your order is shipped, as it is only me running this small business.
What is the best way to reach you?
The best way to reach me is by filling out the form on my Contact page here. The next best way to try would be to message me through social media. My Instagram and Twitter handles are both @MadDudeArt and DMs are open to the public!
What made you decide to become a full-time artist?
I love what I do! I firmly believe that everyone should have access to beautiful artwork they resonate with, and not have to pay hundreds of dollars for it. Art helps me cope with life in so many ways, and each piece is so unbelievably special to me. I feel truly humbled that people want to support me in doing what I love, and hopefully love my creations as much as I do.
Do you do custom artwork?
I do! I love working with clients to bring your visions to life, no matter how big the project. I am always learning and interested in tackling new things, but I also appreciate doing the more traditional Canvas or Tray paintings. Whatever your vision, I would be happy to brainstorm together! Check out my Commissions page for more info!
How does payment work for custom orders?
I charge 50% of the total at the time of accepting your commission, as a nonrefundable down payment in order to get you on my schedule. The final 50% is due upon your verification of the completed work before I ship it out.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to the unique, handcrafted nature of my work, I do not accept returns or exchanges on custom orders. Under extenuation circumstances, please feel free to Contact Us.
What mediums do you use?
Mostly, I use acrylic and/or latex paint. I do some graphite sketching, as well as Prisma Color pencils and oil pastels (although I have not used pastels recently). I also have experience with building small wood furniture and decorations. In the coming months, I will be learning ceramic pottery and glass working from my very talented aunt, Anna Duderstadt.
